Virgin Atlantic is the second largest longhaul airline in the UK and the third largest European carrier over the Atlantic. their route network has grown rapidly in the last twenty years to include destinations in the US, the Caribbean, Far East, India and Africa. In the spring of 2003 Virgin Atlantic replaced British Airways as the only British airline to make its in-house training materials available to college students.
